Power supply units

Your automation solution can operate in a way that increases the productivity of your system.
We have the right power supply unit for you – from 5 to 56 V, in all sectors – whether machine
or system engineering, building automation, shipbuilding or process technology.
Your advantages
- Maximum system availability, thanks to the groundbreaking development of SFB technology
- Operational reliability, thanks to extremely high-quality components
- Flexible use: wide temperature range and adjustable output voltage

Performance characteristics of our power supply units
UINT POWER , TRIO POWER
- AC or DC input: 1-phase, 3-phase
- DC output: power up to 1000 W
- Voltages: 12, 24, 48 V DC
MINI POWER
- AC or DC input: 1-phase
- DC output: power up to 100 W
- Voltages: 5, 10 - 15, 24, ±15 V DC
STEP POWER
- AC or DC input: 1-phase
- DC output: power up to 100 W
- Voltages: 5, 12, 15, 24, 48 V DC

Redundancy modules

Ensure a high level of availability and productivity for your systems: decouple power supply units connected
in parallel and monitor redundancy. We have the suitable solution for you, including the new ACB (Auto Current Balancing) technology, available exclusively from Phoenix Contact.
Your advantages

- Corresponding functionality and design, tailored to power supply units from Phoenix Contact
- Consistent redundancy up to the load, thanks to two positive output terminal blocks per module
- Service life is doubled: ORING modules with ACB technology ensure symmetrical capacity
- Save 70-percent energy: ORING modules decouple with MOSFETs instead of diodes

Which redundancy module do you require?
- QUINT DIODE with approvals for use in potentially explosive areas and STEP DIODE for monitoring the power supply unit voltage
- TRIO DIODE for monitoring the power supply unit voltages and the wiring up to the redundancy module
- QUINT ORING for monitoring the power supply unit voltages, the wiring, decoupling and the load current

DC/DC converters

Change the voltage level, refresh the voltage at the end of longer cables or electrically isolate the loads from one another.
This ensures error-free operation of the connected load.
Your advantages
- Constant voltage even at the end of long cables, thanks to voltage level matching
- High level of flexibility, thanks to large input voltage range
- Preventive monitoring: QUINT POWER indicates critical operating states before errors occur
- Maximum safety: QUINT POWER trips circuit breakers reliably

When are DC/DC converters used?
DC/DC converters provide a regulated DC voltage. The modules in the QUINT range convert input voltages from
18 to 32 V DC or even from 14 to 32 V DC during operation. Output voltages of 12, 24 or 48 V DC are available.
DC/DC converters perform additional important tasks:
- Refresh the output voltage, even at the end of long cables
- Conversion to various voltage levels
- Electrical isolation for setting up independent supply systems

Push-in connection

Now you can connect conductors from 0.34 mm² easily, directly and without tools.
The special contact spring allows easy insertion and guarantees a high level of contact quality.
Your advantages
- Connection of ferruled and solid conductors with push-in technology
- The conductor can be easily released – without special tools
- Low logistics costs, thanks to uniform accessories
- Comprehensive range of accessories: standardized for bridging, testing and marking

Printing systems

Choose the option that is right for your application. The BLUEMARK uses UV technology to produce permanent cards of markers ideal for harsh environments and large print jobs. The THERMOMARK line of printers are ideal for smaller print jobs with a variety of marking and labeling needs. TM Card printer prints on plastic cards or PVC sheets and TM Roll is for flexible roll materials, such as shrink tubing or adhesive labels.
Benefits
-
Printing systems for high and low volume needs
-
Numerous types of material: plastic labels in card format, PVC sheet format and roll materials
-
Markers and labels for a variety of applications: terminal blocks, wire, cable and equipment in and around the control cabinet
-
Specialty labels for push-buttons and caution areas
